Lararium is a home altar to Lares – household deities – and is a must-have for anyone who is following Roman Tradition, is involved in the Roman reenactment movement, or is simply interested in religion, history, and culture of Rome.
Lararium Palatinus fits perfectly at your house fireplace, complements the interior and most importantly it is practical in use allowing you to perform everyday rituals to Gods and household Deities.
All lararia are handmade by professionals of high-quality wood, well painted with added pictures of Lares and Penates (according to authentic pictures of ancient larariums), and may include wooden Lares, Genius, and Snake figurines, brass decorations, and custom variations.
We offer a custom inscription on the bottom wide brass plaque.
Lares Statues option comes with 7 cm / 2.8 in Lares Statues.

We do this because all lararia produced by ARX are being consecrated with an authentic religious ceremony before shipment. The ceremony begins with auspicium – a ritual of requesting Iuppiter’s permission for the rites following. This permission may be and may not be granted right away. Sometimes it takes several days to receive it. So sometimes (very rarely) shipment may be delayed a little longer.

First and foremost, I’d like to warn everyone that the shipping and transit time is insane. I ordered my lararium on November 15th and it arrived yesterday, January 18th.
So keep that in mind.
The product itself is marvellous though; absolutely no disappointment with the fine craftsmanship or beautiful detail. My only quibble is that half of the roof came off in transit, but two months in shipping will do that — plus it can be easily glued back on.
100% recommended for any cultor with a surfeit of patience.

The lararium is fantastic! Very impressed with it’s quality and design. The product took a bit longer to arrive than advertised but Titus was always very quick to answer any of my questions. I would thoroughly recommend this product and any other products that ArxMercatura make as the item and customer service was quality. A must for any Roman fans.

Absolutely five stars for the product, it’s gorgeous and they were happy to customize it for me by adding a way to hang it on the wall, which I very much appreciated.
Eight months to receive the item after payment did seem a bit long, especially with no contact from the company till I emailed to inquire what was happening, but it arrived safely and I love it. The picture below shows it mounted on my wall garlanded to welcome the dī familiārēs to their new home.
10/10, would order again without question but would be more assertive about contact.
