16″/40cm Bastet Statue

Honor Goddess Bastet with a magnificent 15.7 inches/40cm tall Brass Statue of Egyptian Goddess. Cast in high quality Brass with an attention to detail. The Statue is an exact replica of an ancient find from Egypt dating most likely to the Ptolemaic Period – late 4th century BC. The original bronze figure of Bastet as a cat-headed woman wearing a long garment with incised patterns; the left hand raises a Hathor-head sistrum(damaged) and the right holds an aegis to the breast; at the feet are the figures of two kittens; open-work plinth. The original statue is on display in The British Museum.
