Gorgoneion Phalera – Brass Medusa Medallion/Decoration

The Gorgoneion is a protection symbol, featuring the head of a Gorgon, a mythical creature often portrayed in ancient literature. It was used to protect oneself from evil and harm in Ancient Rome and Greece.
