We proudly present to you Ancient Roman Womens Shoes called Socci or Calcei! They are light low shoes, worn in ancient Rome by ladies. The model of these authentic shoess is dated to 1 century AD. The shoes are flat-soled, handcrafted from Genuine Leather, feature decorative perforation and are secured with crossed leather laces! A single shoe would be called a soccus or a Calceus.
Available in different Natural Leather colors and are handcrafted to your exact measurements to fit purfectly to your foot! Message us to discuss the details!
We would need these measurements to craft the Soci perfect for you!
A: please place your foot on a sheet of paper and circle it with a pen;
B: please mark the length of your foot there;
C: please measure the circumference where the top of the shoe will be;
D: please measure the circumference as depicted 12 cm from the floor;
E: please measure the circumference as depicted
G: please measure the circumference as depicted in the widest part of your foot;
F: please measure the circumference as depicted halfway between measurements E and G
